Despite it being a really scary time when our child was admitted the staff both clinical and non clinical were amazing with us as a family and gave my daughter the care she needed. She was so unwell when she arrived both physically and mentally and very difficult to keep safe and manage however with kindness ,patience and building trust and an amazing relationship with her she was able to access the treatment she needed. Park Lodge specialise in complex cases, and if you are being admitted here I promise you that they will validate your struggles, and that you will be okay. At Park Lodge I was never belittled for my mental illness, compared to my other units, where there was incidents of abuse. I always felt listened to by the doctors and they did what was best for me.
