We didn’t stay here, we only came for a meal. It was winter, dark, and I forgot to take any photos (my bad). Anyway, it’s a lovely old building brought up to modern specs as far as I could see, the staff were all great, (we were served by a lovely Spanish guy who’s been there for a number of years I think), and the food was wonderful! Beautiful hotel maintained to a high standard. The staff were so welcoming and lovely. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, from perfect pies to homemade ice creams and jams. The Welsh breakfast is a must! The grounds are delightful - we enjoyed around the surrounding woodland, with historic caves and an ancient burial ground. Very near lots of other beautiful spots like Three Cliffs and Oxwich. Highly recommended!
As a very elderly couple, we were delighted with our bedroom being on the ground floor, just a short hop, skip and jump away from the public rooms! The room was big and comfortable, with a view of the grounds. For us, a second chair for sitting would have been nice, as would have been a hand-rail in the large walk-in shower.
Beautiful place , walking distance to beach and other beautiful walks , really lovely and friendly staff and amazing food both dinner and breakfast. A very special place
Classy but cosy and quiet. Good for couples. Food is high quality.
