The quality of care from the staff is disgusting! The Nursing team and EMS team both disregard the oaths they’ve committed to when it comes to POC. This hospital IS absolutely the worst hospital to receive care from! If you are black and have a real emergency please go to a different hospital. The fact that their staff can watch some one in agonizing pain for 4+ hours goes to show their quality of care is slim to none existent.

This hospital found it acceptable to leave a patient in pain sitting for 4 hours. They do not respect their Black patients, they instead mock them and do not give appropriate care.

Black people are not treated as well as white people there. I hope I never have the misfortune of needing your help.

This is an anti-Black hospital. They do not give Black patients quality and necessary care. Instead, they mocked a Black woman who has sickle cell, and allowed her to remain in significant pain without treatment or care for 4+ hours. STOP underestimating our pain, Black lives matter.

Based on prior experience with emergency medical staff years ago after a fall from my horse, I had a positive view of Palms West. Based on my experience today with the security guard at the reception desk and a registration administrator my view has changed to NEGATIVE. A very nice masked medical staff person cleared me in the lobby -- I came with MY MASK ON. The guard did NOT HAVE A MASK ON and there was NO MASK in sight. The administrator did NOT HAVE A MASK ON and there was NO MASK in sight. How can you allow this to be t... read more

This is a disgrace! A family member of mine went into the ER last night with Covid-19 symptoms. They discharged him hours later, stating on his paperwork that they suspect he has coronavirus! They would NOT test him unless he was admitted, and they wouldn’t admit him either! Now, he has no place to live, or transportation right now, so he’s literally on the street. How do you do this to someone?? You kick him out suspecting he’s infected so he can then turn around and infect more people. Brilliant.

Palms West need to improve their communication when dealing with patients families..They are really close to horrible. I hate calling to do a check for new updates, either they have attitudes or SOUND like they don't wanna be bothered or their irratated that we call. And also they need to relay the CORRECT information to families. If you can go to a different hospital, do so.
