RecommendedBy far the best hospital for children! My 10 year old son was admitted with Kawasakis Syndrome in January. He was in for 3 days, every person that saw my son or talked to him was wonderful! They answered all of our questions & our son's questions too. We felt so comfortable & sleeping arrangements for parents was great. I have to mention one nurse who went way above & beyond for us! Had my outpatient surgery on Tuesday, met with very nice and comforting young lady in admissions, went into pre-surgery with the Nurse, very professional, turns out we both lived in Jamaica, small world! Met with the man who makes you go night, night! What power they have! Saw my Doc walk in and gone!! Woke up and hour or so later, couple deep breaths and out! Very pleasant procedure considering what you come in for.... Thank you Palms West Staff!!!😊
Worst experience ever security starts after seven times going in and out at 3:11 AM argued with me for 20 minutes after they see my band as a patient being admitted to Palms West
Both of my children were delivered at Palms West! I was blessed with wonderful nurses each and everyday. Caring, supportive and patient. They listened to my needs and helped me to deliver my babies safe. In 2015 Melonie was my angle. She held my hand through every contraction. On May 9th 2017, labor and delivery nurse named Ann saved myself and my son. She supported my wish of a natural delivery but things took a wrong turn. Worst ER service ever. Go elsewhere if you can. Took my mom to the ER this morning went to the registration desk and was told to use the kiosk. I used the kiosk and it said if you were experiencing these symptoms to go to the desk. I go to the desk and the man says to have a seat he didn’t want to here anything I had to say, I wanted to tell him what the kiosk said and I was concerned I wasn’t signed in. 3rd Floor Nurse Stephen and Nurse assistant Wacknic are evil people. After having a Histerectomy Nurse Stephen made my get out of the bed on my own to walk by myself (I asked him if this was normal and he looked at me and told me yes, you have to do it on your own), my surgery looks red and purple around thanks to this incompetent nurse that didn't assisted me. The assistant nurse didn't wait for me to change the gown because she had 15 more vitals to check. All of this happened not even 24 hours after my surgery. The AC in ... read more
I delivered my baby here and I every single staff member from doc to nurses to room service to food service were all so friendly and took such awesome care of us for four days that we were there. They have such professional skills and backed with good old friendly personalities. A huge thank you to every single one.
Nurses are very friendly,at least here on 3rd floor. Making my stay less miserable
Try listening to the concerns of your patients instead of outright interupting them when they speak!!Every nurse, doctor and PA I encountered spoke down to me as I was unintelligent, and as if they knew the answers to my ailments before a complete evaluation or allowing me to tell them all the issues that i'm experiencing from my injury. I left this facility in TEARS, I felt dehumanized by the lack of respect (especially from the rude nurses), service was speedy and ABSOLUTELY USELESS.
