Had a great evening meal. Our kids ate everything too, not an easy thing to achieve with our fussy little eaters.

Food was really nice. Had 2 meals here. Staff were a little uninterested but it may have been because they were young. Squabbling amongst themselves. Burger was really nice and beef dinner was delicious. Sticky toffee was good too.

We stayed here for an August wedding at Charlton Hall about 4 miles away on the 16th August. Convenient location & a lovely pub. The rooms are accessible 24/7 without having to walk through the pub. The room was tidy & well presented, some may find the room we were in quite small (room 4) but we managed just fine. The bed was king-size & very comfortable. The bathroom was tight, the shower good, unfortunately the toilet seat was broken (it was mentioned as we were shown the room so should be sorted soon). The room has a ward... read more

We read the reviews and it sounded great.... We went on a Tuesday evening and they may have had a bad evening. We had booked expecting Burger Tuesday () and when we arrived, admittedly 20 mins late... It was Thai food. OK. We like Thai food. It took 45 minutes to order, in a mainly empty restaurant. It took 2 and a half hours to get 4 not great starters and mains (and we were really hungry, so anything would have been great) in an empty restaurant. Oh my God it was painfully slow.
