For the Downtown LA Restaurant: I'll start with this: My dinner this past Friday night was, flat out, the best meal I've had at the Dining Car. I've gone, and often, and they've changed some of their menu items and adjusted some recipes - it's such an improvement, and so wonderful. When I go here, I usually come in with my wife, daughter, and mother, but they were all unavailable this weekend - and so I thoroughly enjoyed a "date night" for me. And it was a marvelous night. Lou poured beautiful cocktails, as usual, and Hugo ... read more

I have been going to the Pacific Dining Car since I was a teenager back in the early 80's and it is by far the best steak house that I have been too! The service is impeccable and the food is bar none the best in its class. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want a good steak, good food, and excellent service. Rocco Coluccio

Very classy place - renovated ancient railroad dining car placed on a lot in downtown L.A. They have valet parking for $9 (you don't have a choice if you want to park on their lot) - the baseball steak is small, but perfectly done the way you want and comes with pine nuts and a marrow bone. The lobster and truffle macaroni and cheese are fantastic, and the onion rings are best I've ever had. It's not cheap at all (even with a free baseball steak offer, the bill was about $110 before tip), but it worth what you pay for it. Al... read more

This is the best kept secret in LA and 24 hours. You lose all track of time on e you are in here and ita super comfortable with a number of sidferent rooms with different atmosphere. You feel like you are relaxing in your living room or den. And a great place to hideaway and chill out. Also a great location. One of the last of original LA ambience left. Not one of these uncomfortable fly by night cheesy places that are all over the city and have nothing to do with LA. Completely contrived with no soul . Unlike the pacific di... read more

Open 24 Hours which is great. Bone marrow was good. The bread is good. Great ranch dressing.

Over priced for average food, but GREAT service- very professional and attendant. The New York was onercooked and tough. The caprese Salad was beautiful, but boring. No highlight zing in the heirloom tomatoes nor the balsamic. My filet oscar was wonderful combo with perfect Med rare, good Hollandaise and generous crab. The creamy house mashed potatoes and sautéed mushrooms were also perfect. But mortons or Flemings at these prices probably better steaks. Great Pinot Wine was perfect fit

Nice place, nice foods, very nice service but 1.) * the price is little bit too high 😲 2.) * $10 for the Valet Parking ??? *** In that little tiny parking lot that's will only fit 25 Cars the most, 😲 on top of that, The parking attendant has the bad attitude 😱 I don't think I will ever going back 😈😈😈
