Don't know why you'd rate this low, as the bed was very clean and comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. (Okay, the decor was outdated, but the key things were spot on.) Great value too, in a quiet area of Manchester. We returned about 3am and the owner was still on site and let us in immediately. Would highly recommend and stay there again.
Booked this and then cancelled as concerned about other reviews about accessing hotel late. No way of contacting the hotel at all to query this, could only speak to OYO customer service. Was advised I would receive a full refund however this was for several weeks ago and still nothing after calling multiple times. Every time I am told I will get an email in 48 hours but it has been several weeks and nothing. Genuine scam do not book.
For the price, it’s good enough. Bed is comfortable, although bedding has some stains and pillows are really thin. Room doesn’t come with a bedside lamp which is weird. Lock in/out policy means you’re locked in after 11pm. This isn’t mentioned on booking and it’s really annoying. I understand it’s for safety reasons, but I’d also like to be able to come and go a bit more easily as a paying guest. The manager was nice, but the rooms wasn't the best curtains broke, door won't lock toilet won't flush, but he moved us to a much nicer room it's only good for 1 or 2 nights
On 5th floor no lift but room was clean and tidy sink and shower OK for the price
