There is an awful body odour smell in the shop. Today, 5 December 2025 I navigated rain, traffic wardens and work to drop off some books. I arrived before closing time and noticed the person had locked up and ran off. Closing time of 4.30pm did not apply. I even managed to get a parking in the loading bay and explained to the warden I’m dropping off books.
This place sells really good cheap books!Would definitely recommend.❤️
definitely one of the best secondhand bookshops around, carrying plenty of niche and obscure texts to keep everybody happy
It's great to see the Oxfam Bookshop open during this period. Hand sanitizer and limited numbers make it a reasonable shop, it would help if some shoppers were less impatient and would wait rather than standing right beside by you to look at the same area, tend to price on the high side , but still managed to find a book and 3 CDs . A good variety of books ,music and dvds
