Beautiful soccer mom bob for cheap – I asked for a unique cut I could still pull back for sports. Several times I told the stylist I didnt want a bob, even pointing out a client whose cut I didnt like. After 1.5 hours, my cut was so boring (a perfectly sculpted bob) that I actually got unsolicited comments from people about how to fix my hair. Dena is the best! – I decided to part from my LA hairstylist and find a place here in SF. I decided to go to Oxenrose and must of been the best hair decision I have ever made. Dena, my hair stylist knew exactly what to do with my hair and my cut came out better than expected! I am impressed and plan to go to Oxenrose for ALL of my hair needs! Not to mention....very affordable!

Masaki is great! – I've been to him twice and Rachel once and both are great. Masaki did both a long and short cut for me and they both turned out exactly how I wanted them to turn out! The only issue I have with this place are the front desk staff who are either average or horrible. Last time I went there I waited one hour before the girl came to ask me who I was meeting with because she had forgotten to tell the stylist that I was waiting!

Rachel is great – I've been living in the city for year and finally decided to cut ties with my LA hair stylist. After several great recommendations from fellow students, I ventured to Oxenrose with Rachel. I have very thick hair and just needed a simple layer cut. She is so great. My head orgasm – I awoke to my roots, as I do most mornings. Damiano, such a lovely name and even more so, a lovely Italian man. I was greeted early by Damiano. He was unpretentious even though I felt like the salon was way too hip for me. Once seated, I was asked by more than one staff member if I would like anything to drink or read. How lovely. Impressed..... – I must say Im very impressed. The new salon is very very nice. Lizzie my hair stylist is a star in my eyes. She makes me look and feel beautiful! As Im getting my hair cut I watch all the other hair dressers create style, its as if Im watching an art show. Im very impressed and very happy I found Oxenrose. Thanks and awesome job!

Great Cuts & Color – I have been getting my hair cut by Charles for 5 years now and even though I moved to the southbay, I still drive up to see him. I started getting highlights with Shane about a year ago. Both are excellent!

User review by mouse31 – When entering a salon, you are first greeted by the receptionist. The receptionist sets the tone for your whole salon experience. Well, the receptionists at Oxenrose are total snobs, to say the least. They did not greet us when we came through the door. It was us who had to let the girl know we were there for an appointment, while the other girl did not look up once to even acknowledge us. Finally someone who can do short hair! – I've been bouncing from stylist to stylist for 2 years in this city getting more depressed each time. read manderz's review of Will at Oxenrose and was not disappointed.
