Super hair cut! – I recently had one of the best hair cuts. Reasonable price since I had one of their new stylists, Jessica. She was really focused on how I wanted things and made great suggestions. It was a fun place too.

HORRIBLE Customer Service – I made my appointment weeks in advance and then when I arrived they had lost the appointment and promised to call back in an hour to fit me in. When I never recieved a call I called back only for them to not deliver on their promise to fit me in. I was severely dissappointed as I had heard such great things about the salon from friends and am now destined to have horrible hair for my 25th birthday party :o(

Didn't live up to the hype – I was excited at getting my hair cut here, especially after such glowing reviews. Well, it was definitely a disappointing experience. The stylist who coincidentally had great reviews on this site gave me a haircut with jagged layers - but not the flattering kind. He could not even cut my hair evenly at the ends (one side was longer than the other), so that I had to trim them myself. over-rated!!! go elsewhere!!! – i wanted a stylized/modern cut for my medium-short hair, and the stylist gave me a boring ol' bob. he actually spent a total of 10 minutes cutting my hair and 30 minutes blowing drying it to a crisp. he even left my hair split down the center and didn't bother to return it to it's natural part... and i can't believe i was charged $50 for this! i guess i was paying for the electricity costs of all that blowdrying. learn from my mistake and go elsewhere.

Was not disappointed – A friend of mine recommended Oxenrose, so I decided to try it out. It's got a great atomsphere, with the lounge/bar on the second floor. You can drink an Italian soda while looking down at all the stylists as you're waiting to get for your appointment. I had my hair cut by Brian & he did a great job! I'm so happy with my hair cut. Great experience and very affordable – I highly recommend this salon- I visited Oxenrose for the first time this weekend and had the pleasure of having Ashley be my consultant/stylist. She listened to what I wanted and added her own recommendations that ended up giving me a new style that was better than what I expected! Also, this salon is very affordable ($40 for a cut/style by Ashley and many other stylists there). I will definitely be returning!

1st time – I considermyself very particular about my hair. Visiting San Fran for a week and needing a last minute haircut I was on the search. I found Oxenrose by walking by. It was also further recomended by a friend. Booked appointment and was cut by Sandy. Great feedback and good skill, felt a bit rushed throughout the process, but it was a great value and good experiance for a first timer. Would reccomend this to anyone, Sandy was great, good mix of personality and professionalism. Thanks guys!
