Would give this place zero stars if possible booked a room for a night in April for a mates wedding for them to say they’ve closed down and wedding is cancelled room was paid in full and still no refund. DONT BOOK HERE
Cant really give any lower for this company had our wedding booked here for 26-4-25 only to have it cancelled mod January stating they was not re opening....thank fully sourced another venue....there are people from our wedding party still waiting on refunds for there rooms which they booked and paid for communication is poor to say the least absolute shambles of the management best thing this company could of done was close down!!!
THOMAS CARR @ THE COAST CLOSED 21 DEC 24 The hotel answer machine states they have 'closed for the winter months' No availability on booking.com. Don't buy vouchers online until you have spoken to them. Bought our voucher online in good faith before xmas intending to book for the Thomas Carr tasting menu - his name is still all over the website but it also has a one-liner stating the restaurant has closed... can't find any info online to say they are in trouble but atm I'm feeling like we've potentially lost a lot of money F... read more
On a midweek day in December the hotel was very quiet and we enjoyed a peaceful and very enjoyable birthday treat.
