Starter went out of the car. Waited for days and they didn't cover it. Don't walk run.
Rep gave me a great deal but kept on trying to pressure me into getting coverage today after I explained to him my situation several times and said no I will just call back he just kept on asking with an attitude... why you don't wanted to pay $49 today so I ask for a supervisor and he got mad and said something fly then hung up in my face so how they got A+ on BBB I don't know cause that was my first and last time calling them... If I could give zero stars I would! Ox car care is a complete scam! Please dont let the reviews fool you like it did myself.
I just started with Ox about 90 days ago and tried to reach their roadside assistance, they advertise 24 hours, they were closed. Good thing I have AAA also. I didn't think any business could be worse than Endurance and CarShield.
When I signed up I was told to have the car repair business call to verify benefits before work was done. DID THAT. but then was told I had to pay for repair & submit claim to Ox Car Care. which I did. Been 7 weeks and I have not been reimbursed yet.I am a senior on very limited income. I chose ******* Car for extended maintenance on my car because it seemed to be the best deal. NOW I am not so sure. I did not sign up for this.
Listening to a Commercial about the service this company provides on the radio and they claim their services covers "BRAKES", but when i spoke with one of their sales reps a day later, he said it doesn't cover brake pads (because it's a wear and tear item) the ad on the radio was very misleading. I called to get a quote a while ago and they have been harassing me so I answered. The lady was so rude and making the situation like it was a right now or never situation. I will not be pressured to purchase something presented half a**. The radio advertises them like they are great. Lies
Patience is key here. Need to call early to get a claims person on the phone. I maintained car of my vehicle and the claims ppl approved my claim.
Heard their radio Ad and filled out their website form. Got my coverage and my booklet quickly. I made one small claim for a valve on my ******* Got it paid and I am stilling getting my free oil changes on top. cant complain
