I have never had a bad experience with OAT or Grand Circle Travel. I have gone on seven trips with them.

The company does not staff its phone lines. I have been on hold for 108 minutes already. It's not clear how one is supposed to make travel plans this way.

They are the absolute worst. Their “discounts” are not worth it. They should be like Tauck and have one price. Also, their representatives are not well trained. We will never use them or Grand Circle.

OAT HAS BEEN MY FAVORITE DUE TO ACTIVITIES OF OUTDOOR AND LEARNING ABOUT THE LOCAL CULTURE.

I am horrified that OAT will not allow refund of their middle East trip even though state dept warnings tell tourists to be ready for mortar fire and serious risk. This is the sign of an irresponsible travel purveyor only interested in $. Do not travel with them.

Just back from a trip to Bhutan - I love OAT for 'special' trips and I'm always surprised by the value I get. The tour guides are excellent. I'm coming back so enriched. The small groups are a plus, too. There has not been a bad trip with OAT yet.

Have better trained customer service representatives. Received inaccurate information with regard to VISAs, hotel reservations and transfers.

Wonderful, well guided trips all over the world. The maximum size of the tour is 16 people. They are experts at getting you infused in the culture of the land you are visiting! They do not charge extra for single supplements and there are four on each trip.

Not only does OAT have great locations, they also provide visits to cultural locations as well. For instance, while in Iceland we learned about their booming greenhouse farming. Sure the landscapes and geography of Iceland are spectacular, but did you know that their greenhouse farming is total organic and sustainable?
