Called overheaddoor to schedule for garage door repair. Overhead told us that Monday is possible for them to come look at it with no talk of $120 charge. My wife told them we will call them to confirm Monday appointment. They came in for lookout with no appointment(my wife mistakenly thought I made an appointment but I didn't), they looked at the door and say they can't repair this and will charge us $120. My wife and I purchased a new home in a community in Lewes Delaware 18 months ago. Our garage door opener started to malfunction approximately a week ago. I contacted the builder of the community to request information on who installed the garage door and opener. I didn't get an immediate response so, after a couple of days, we decided to call another local company that was recommended to us by our neighbor who had his garage door repaired the previous month. Need garage door repair service? I'm recommending Overhead Door Co. of Delmar. They went above and beyond to provide great service to me in replacing the tortion spring that cracked in half after being installed when our house here in Lewes Crossing was built in 2015. So we got 8 years out of the spring, and a neighbor told me a few days ago that she knew of 4 or 5 other houses on my block where the spring had cracked within the last few months. Asked to set up a date for repair and was told 6 weeks out for next appointment. They took down my information and never heard back from them at the 6 week mark. Sad part is it’s been over a year. Oh well guess my money will be spent with a competitor

I there thinking it was the place I had spoke to on the phone....but it wasn't. I am glad because I didn't like their service at all. A bit on the rude side. Oh well there are others places to go....I recommend those instead
