I recently had knee replacement surgery at this facility and it was a horrible experience. 1 of the issues that I had was that I was not given my pain medicine on time after the block wore and it took 5 hours to get my pain under control. I ended up having to have morphine. I slept most of the day after my surgery and after I woke up I realized I had not done my physical therapy or used the spirometer. My recent PT appointments with Steve Gaskill were outstanding. I’ve struggled with knee pain for most of my 57 years of life. Steve listened to my goals and taught me so much about how the knees work. He was patient and answered all of my questions. Best of all, he taught me how to care for my knees, giving me back the control I felt I lost many years ago.

Went in for out patient surgery on my foot. The staff there were wonderful! I have crappy veins for blood sticks and after trying once, my nurse brought in another nurse who did a fantastic job getting the IV in on her first try. I hardly felt the stick! Got to surgery earlier than anticipated and was finished quickly. I was back home in no time. Area was clean and well maintained. I highly recommend OrthoIndy for any orthopedic surgeries.
