I've had knee surgery, neck surgery, and about to have surgery on my hip. I have been going to ortho since 2013 and absolutely love the care and understanding everyone I've spoken with. they are an amazing team and bedside manner is outstanding

Tried to go to the Urgent Care location for severe back pain and during the registration process I was advised that I had previously been seen back in 2004 and was in collections, therefore I could not be seen. The receptionist couldn’t see the bill, nor the amount I owed...I was in severe pain and was reused service over a 16 year old bill. Furthermore, it’s disheartening that people are being denied service/treatment, especially when they currently have medical insurance.

At just the "young" age of 50, I required a total hip replacement. It had been bothering me for a few years and I thought it was my fibromyalgia or just regular arthritis. My PCP sent me to OrthoIndy where the x-rays showed I had severe degeneration in the right hip. My surgeon was Dr. Patrick Millikan who was great. Very informative, professional and understanding. To begin my girlfriend has had nothing but rude/unprofessional interactions with the receptionist. ALL OF THEM! She has chronic back pain. They do not need to treat her like a number. She is a third grade teacher and a wonderful human being. She wouldn’t hurt a flea. Why treat any person the way they do?? She has been to the ER twice in 3 days due to a possible disc pinching nerves. They feel no rush in scheduling an appointment to see the surgeon. MRI results take days. Makes no sense! After a my girlfriend's failed discectomy appointments were made to discuss further treatment. covid policies should be reviewed. Patients need an advocate present when major life decisions are on the table. Spine surgery regardless of the invasiveness is serious business. Patients sometimes can't remember everything that was discussed or bring up questions about what has happened to them or what is being planned. Needless to say I do not approve and this will always leave me with a dim view of Ortho Indy.
