The hosts were brilliant and what a beautiful place to stay at!! Time literally stops being at Orchid Meadows! The cakes Lynn made ready for your arrival were exceptional. The site has multiple meadows to explore with its own natural habitat for wildlife which is perfect for explorers or just to have a lovely stroll after dinner. You will not be disappointed !! :) Orchid Meadow is heaven on earth! #glampavan
I could write a whole book about this place, just go ahead and do yourself a massive favour and book it for yourself, 25 acres of fully explorable private nature reserve, a beautiful huge yurt, teeming with red kites, owls, wildlife and wild flowers, a huge box of complimentary cakes which are absolutely delicious the peace and quiet, the pitch black starry skies, the super friendly cakes the amazing hosts Steve and Lynn. Perfect base to explore the area with miles of coastal and mountain walking all within easy reach - the cottage itself is set on a lovely little site that was beautiful with autumn colors when we were there. The cottage is well equipped and cosy and our hosts provided us with a wonderful selection of delicious local cakes and treats for the week - a perfect little get away...
It was our first time staying in a yurt. It was an amazing experience. Lynne made us the most delicious cakes on arrival and we enjoyed a lovely stroll around the nature trail. There was everything that you needed and more. A great way to relax and enjoy the beautiful countryside. It was a five star experience for us.
