My wife, son and I stayed here while our house was being built. We lived here for 6 months. The place is in need of updating, though they are in the process of doing that now. The place was clean and the A/C - heat worked fine. The staff is top notch, friendly and helpful. They have a breakfast every day and a dinner Mon-Thur. Breakfast is fine with a hot offering that rotates along with the usual toast, bagels, muffins, cereal, fruit, drinks and such. The maintenance staff is on top of any problem you may encounter. There are usually a few state troopers staying there so I liked the security that provided. The cleaning staff was very nice and did a great job. Location is very convenient to the Austin area. Close to downtown and easy access to the highways that will get you anywhere. Enjoyed our stay and the folks running the place. We would stay again. I actually need to go visit everyone. Especially with the new renovations this place will be top notch. Stay, you won't be disappointed!

If I ever need family or friends to stay anywhere, I always recommend them to go here because of the loft prices. I've been here a couple of times and I love the whole upstairs/downstairs loft hotel. It has a kitchen and it has two restrooms as well as a living room. Talk about a home away from home! I felt so comfortable and the staff were really friendly! David Rogers helped me to find this place and gave me a great deal to stay there several days! I like that it's in the middle of Austin so it's very convenient for a night downtown or go up to North Austin for some great restaurants. Thanks, Orange Wood Suites! I'll be returning soon!

Stayed with some friends for bar hopping. We loved the spacious room and the gift basket was a plus! It felt very homey. Front staff was awesome! She always stopped what she was doing to answer my questions with a positive attitude. One of my friends has severe allergies to almost everything, so if they didn't clean properly, his skin would have flared up. No flare ups, so kudos to the cleaning staff!
