The main room had a sliding divider so you can have guests and still have access to you own area for someone to sleep or change clothes, etc. The front living room with desk and nice executive chair, sofa with coffee table and a TV that swings around to view from bed. The hotel is very nice, and the rooms are some of the best I've seen. Decent furniture, spacious room and an accordion door that separates the living room/kitchen from the bedroom.
free buffet breakfast every morning and free dinner served M-W. The rooms are large and very well kept up. Maid service everyday replacing towels and sheets. management is super friendly. Most of all, I felt super safe staying here. Even though the hotel is right off I35, it is a very safe place to stay. Best price I found for an extended stay, and had even better features than most!
The staff were particularly welcoming and helpful.They had a great breakfast.
I got up feeling refreshed after a good nights sleep. The staff was awesome and the free breakfast is always a plus!
For me, the best part of the stay was the set-up. We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom, 2 bath lofts. To be able to retreat upstairs at night, to not have to try to get me, my wife, and our children in and out of the same bathroom, was unbelievable. The full kitchen allowed my wife to shop and actually lowered the trip costs for food.
Will Stay Again – The bottom line is this: my wife and kids absolutely loved this hotel. The staff took great care of us, and it was a great deal. We will definitely be staying at Orangewood the next time we're in Austin!
The location was perfect. It took me less than 15 minutes to get to the Convention Center each day. Also, there is a bus stop near the property and a metro rail station 1 mile away.
I recently took my family to Austin for a week-long conference and needed a family-friendly hotel. Orangewood was more than I could have hoped for. The service was excellent and the value was incredible. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate our every need. Moreover, they took time to get to know us; we felt like we were staying with family. The hot breakfast was a great way to start the day.
