I stayed at Orangewood Suites on 04 May 2012 and 05 May 2012 then checked out mid-morning 06 May 2012. I was in Austin for a wedding and wanted to stay in the same location as my friends who were in the wedding party. This worked out perfectly for all as all age ranges were in the wedding party. Orangewood Suites was an excellent choice since I wanted more than a motel or hotel room. I stayed one night, but it would be fine for an extended stay. The suite had a front closet with ironing board and iron. A small but full kitchen with stove, oven & microwave. Refrigerator, freezer with ice maker. Pantry closet. Even a cutting board + knives and dining utensils. Dining place for 2. Cups and plates and glasses for 2 people. Coffee maker with coffee and tea selection.
It was a good hotel. The pool was kind of small but it was adequate for my family. The stove and everything else was nice.
The room was better than I expected.

Easy access in and out = if a large city like Austin does not intimidate you.

Went to Texas for vocation stayed here at Orangewood and the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.
I recently took my family to Austin for a week-long conference and needed a family-friendly hotel. Orangewood was more than I could have hoped for. The service was excellent and the value was incredible. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate our every need. Moreover, they took time to get to know us; we felt like we were staying with family. The hot breakfast was a great way to start the day.
