I have been an owner for 19+ years in west village, but love many of the new developments and additions over the last few years. My kids enjoy all the amenities, including night swimming, lazy river, golf and water sports. Love 81 degrees in December too!

Let me start by saying, I have stayed here well over a dozen times. I really enjoy the general room accomodations and the lazy river. The beds suck, I mean seriously they are terrible, but the rooms are generally nice. However, it has left much to be desired recently and finally reached my breaking point. This place utterly disgusts me in their poor treatment of their customers(Certainly not guests). We are a fixed week legacy owner. We were lied to and pressured into buying into the point system why would we do that our week is paid for we drive our vehicle and cook at our condo so of course it's a minimal expense trip. The staff lied to us they told us we could buy Disney tickets at wholesale cost but then after our "meeting for upgrade" we went to purchase our tickets then we were told that discounts to Disney are only offered for three or more day passes what? Just left being bullied at Fox Lake Resort, Sheridan, Il by Holiday Inn Resorts employees (Kathy - Illinois and Donnie-Virginia) for not wanting to sell our three timeshares at Fox Lake to buy one timeshare in Orlando. Wow

Its wonderful but the tubes are definitely overpriced. In addition to that, once a person is tired from using their tube they paid such a high price for, they should be able to share their tube with their family member till they are ready to use it again. Not having to have it taken away from them during their tubing time

The best place ever for us. Need to stay in river island tho. So much fun n relaxing. Tubes should be included.

Got robbed the first day here at this shit hole!!! It was the managers here that did it!! The police told us it's not the first time this happened here. The police said it happens here all the time here!! But they don't want the people to know this is going on here!! Frankie and Jase are the ones telling people to steal from you!! They watch u and robbed u when u leave!!
