the staff is awesome-place is beautiful staying 20 days 2-9 to 3-12 signature owners treat people like you want to be treated-coming from the 30.s up north to thr 70's here cannot wait!

We love it at Orange Lake. We are owners since 1985 & I booked 3 1/2 weeks here so we could visit my brother-in-law who was very sick. It happened that he passed away 3 days before we got here & the staff has been wonderful through all our stay here. We had other family coming down & we needed to upgrade the last week we are here & were able to do this & continue to stay in our 3 bedroom the entire time. This is a "resort" that has not kept up with the times. The rooms reeked of mold. The carpeting was filthy. The Palmer/Wilson sports bar had no one to greet guests but a sign was posted to wait until seated. We walked into the restaurant and counted 3 tables of people who had not been waited on. We left the facility. We returned to registration to discuss our experience with management. No recourse but for us but to leave. Warning to others...don't get caught up in the fake glitz and glamor. We love this place and have vacationed here for years. Love the staff, and the property is absolutely beautiful. We could spend an entire week here without leaving the property and be totally happy with all the pools and events they have going on. We have never been disappointed and look forward to coming back every year!

My mother and I visited in early Jan. 2016 and were quite pleased with our stay. The grounds are beautiful, staff were all kind, and our room was very spacious. We were set to check out early morning on 1/10 but due to a family emergency we were unable to do so and instead needed to stay until late that evening. The hotel Manager was incredibly helpful and extended our room, at no cost, until we were able to leave that evening many hours past the original check out time.

We stay at places all over the country and by far our worst experience we've ever had at a resort. They hate RCI members and obviously the GM doesn't understand what good customer service is because it's not a priority with the staff! The amenities were decent, otherwise they'd have received a 1! We got lied to by the ticket staff and it was more expensive than at the park. The customer service lacked the customer service part.
