Wish I could give ZERO stars. Optum RX there is this thing called HIPAA. Rules that were put in place for a reason. 3.. THREE times now.. THREE.. can you count.. THREE times my husband has been contacted rather then ME for MY prescriptions. I've updated the information 3 TIMES NOW. YOUR process is BROKEN if you can't update ONE simple piece of Information how does that bode for your prescriptions. I called.. WHILE speaking with a pharmacist the call dropped. You mean to tell me the CSR did NOT have caller ID to call me back?
The new rx system OptumRX is a disaster. They are terribly inconsistent and disorganized. I had my first prescription sent to them by my MD and they held it for 10 days. I finally called and they said they were waiting for me to call and give consent to fill the order. Now I have 2 orders and both were given duplicate orders. Fortunately only one of each was filled. Apparently a doctors prescription isn't enough to get a specialty drug shipped ..... They wait for the patient to call .... No phone call to the patient to inform them about this procedure tho ... But if your credit card isn't updated they call immediately
On vacation out of state and my husband leaves his insulin behind... He is only a type one on a pump and they have denied covering a vial for him, as its to early to collect!!! total bull shit
The worst RX service company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. So frustrated that my company changed to OptumRx with no choice. My wife has been without her medication now for 4 days because of OptumRx poor service. They deny the prescription after 5 months of filling it. I quess someone has to die before they will take action.
They have the worst service I have ever experienced. I have 2 maintenance drugs that I take. I have been dealing with them since January 2015 and every prescription/refill has had a problem. From being mailed to the wrong address, the prescription is wrong, canceling orders that were needed, contacting doctors in the wrong state, billing me for their mistakes and the list can go on and on.
