The staff are great, the accommodation is great. But the laundry situation is horrendous. I’ve seen people throw other peoples clothes out of the washer/dryer, and 5mins later, the person would come to see this …it’s quite shocking to see that from people who are ‘working registered professionals’ don’t even get me started on tunics and scrubs that shouldn’t leave the hospital site, gets washed in these machines too. It’s quite concerning.
The best NHS accommodation so far!
When I eventually found it, staff was very helpful and showed me round. Room spacious and clean. Wardrobe, mirror, chair, freshly made bed, desk, bedside table with lamp and notice board. Bathroom clean, small shower cubical with new shower curtain, fresh towels, toilet roll. Communal room for cooking / tv clean and tidy with fridge and freezer, toasties machine cooker etc plenty of mugs, glasses, cutlery and plates etc. This place is a godsend whilst hubby is having cancer treatment, so I don't have to travel hours to get t... read more
