Dr. Witherington is the most understanding and caring ophthalmologist I have ever been to. I was definitely blessed to be introduced to him and his staff by the Lions Club. If not for his talent and expertise, I would not be able to see. His staff is just as caring and helpful like none other I have been to. Thank you so much for taking such great care of me and I will highly recommend you to anyone who needs a fantastic eye doctor.
I remember on one occasion I woke up on a Mother's Day morning to see my eyes looking all red. They were hurting, and I knew I would be upset and have discomfort all day. I took a chance on calling Dr. Witherington since he will even call you back on a weekend or anytime if you leave him a message. He went out of his way to meet me at his office to examine my eyes and treat me. I was very fortunate since I did have pink eye. I was able to get the drops I needed without having to worry and ruin Mother's Day with the family.

Approximately 5 years ago my husband came to see Dr. Witherington for a routine eye exam and glasses. He also wanted me to have my eyes checked, because I was having horrible headaches. Dr. Witherington examined me and told me that in 20 years he had never seen papilla edemas as bad as mine. He told me I had pseudo-tumor cerebri and reffered me to another physician, who confirmed the diagnosis. I had a great experience at the Lehigh Acres store. Richard was the one who helped me besides Dr. Witherington. I got one of the best eye exams I have ever had. Three pair of great glasses. One pair for free. You should be very proud to have someone as nice as Richard to represent your store. He was knowledgeable, not pushy. Thank you for making my visit enjoyable.
On a recent visit to Dr. Witherington¿s office, my wife received a complete eye exam. This exam revealed some corrective needs, which were accomplished in on visit. We were able to solve these in the glasses we ordered. We were especially impressed with the Drs. Mastery of his profession.
I just had to write a note about my experience here at OptiExpress. Dr. Witherington is the best optometrist that I have ever had. We live in Petersburg, FL but I make it a point to get my exams here because of his thorough exam. I am so impressed with the entire office staff too!
It is hard to find such good customer service anymore. I am a registered nurse and tend to expect a little too much from my visits to doctors and dentists and I must say this office ALWAYS delivers. I work very hard for my money and when I am spending the amount that I do on eyewear it is nice to get the service along with it.
