This is one of our local pubs and so we tend to pop in most months. The setting and decor are amazing as its set in a mature gardens with the old mill stream and race sliding by next to you. Unfortunately our last 4 visits over the past 6 months have left the food and staff wanting. Food is average at best for the price and the bar service during our last visit made us feel like we were in the wrong due to a misunderstanding around how many pints we wanted.
