With a name like the Old Homestead, you are almost certain that this restaurant praises the bovine from top to bottom. The Old Homestead Steak House first opened in 1868 and it remains a straightforward, old-fashioned steakhouse without sacrificing any of the modern amenities. In this sense, thankfully, it is no longer that difficult to get Kobe beef from Japan, which probably wasn't on the menu in 1868. Most of the dishes are priced in the higher range, but are well worth your money.

Food was amazing, steak is cooked just the way you ask for it. Mac and cheese was the most surprising thing of the night. The cheese sauce is delicious. They need to step up the cleaning of bathrooms throughout the night, by 9PM the bathroom looked like a disaster area. Staff was average but nothing more. Loved the building and the feel of the space.
The food was very good, we had the filet mignon for 2, which came with sides. We also had the shrimp cocktail which was very well presented. The shrimp were huge and just the right texture, the dipping sauce had an ample amount of horse radish. Sarko our server was charming and very attentive.
Don't bother. Terrible service, overpriced. You can get the same steak elsewhere for less and with a smile.
This is my favorite place in the entire Earth. Staff is always friendy and service is great! Most importantly, the food is amazingly great!
Celebrated mom's 9th. Every bite was phenomenal. Service was perfect. We will be going again soon but will definitely celebrate her 100th here. Love it.
Food was amazing, seating and service wasn't very good. It was so loud in there my husband and I couldn't even have a conversation. Only reason for 4 stars was the good was good. Not like back home in Cali, when you pay for a nice meal, the great service usually comes with it.
