Sister pub / venue to the Paper Mill Inn (same owners) - directly opposite. Much the same applies per my review for that. I'd say this pub is slightly more restaurant orientated than the Paper Mill but nothing wrong with that. 4 only just because ale choice was more interesting on the day in the Paper Mill. Visit both pubs its paper thin between them which is better (pun intended). Much love to the owners and staff

Great service, great food, lovely atmosphere.
Room itself was lovely, but was very disappointed to walk into the bathroom to a sign that said shower broken sorry. I expected somebody to let me know this prior to arriving considering I paid just short of £200 for a night, but this a side its a lovely place to Stay.
Came for a family meal, two of which have birthdays this week. On booking, three weeks prior to the date, there was a section for “any special requirements” in that section I did write that there is a member with a dairy allergy and can a DF Yorkshire pudding be made (this is something many places do accommodate with advanced request).
