Great customer service. I bought a Helios rod from a local bait shop and the rod broke on the first fish not even a 1 pound bass. So I went to the bait shop I bought it at and he told me to pay 70 dollars for shipping and repair so I called Okuma and they told me cut out the part of rod that has the serial number and send it to them and they will send a new rod. Was back on the water within 2 weeks. Great job Okuma

Needed some help as local suppliers didn't carry rods I was needing. Excellent support on product application for a semi unique set-up I was looking for and felt confident that my selection will meet my needs next salmon season on the great lakes. Dealer had a special one day pricing for Xmas so my plan in Jan to road trip to a stocking dealer couldn't happen. 10 rods later I should be a happy camper next season.

As a saltwater guide I have to rely on quality equipment. I have confidence every time I put their product in the hands of my clients it can get the job done whether it's a small speckle trout or a monster bull red.

Just received my RTX 25s and it seems very stiff when turning the handle which seems counter to everything I read before buying the reel. Is this normal or should it spin freely and smooth without resistance? Any suggestions on how to "loosen" up the reel so that spins freely? I was told this reel mimics the Ci4. So far that's far from accurate. Hoping there is something simple I can do to resolve the stiff feel of this reel. Appreciate any help or assistance. Nick

Purchased the 7'-6" TCS Heavy Scott Martin signature rod. Today was my first day on the water with it. The sensitivity, cast-ability and construction are top knotch. I've not had a rod that I could feel the grass beds and reeds. I'm an Okuma angler now. Well done!! Now to have my Helios TCS reel delivered..

Plastic gears have contributed to the failure of my first and only 3 Okuma Cold Water reels. As a pro fishing guide I cannot trust a cheaply made reel when we are targeting trophy striped bass. So now I have to purchase 3 new reels for my trips this week as the warranty process will surely be weeks...and then I have to pay to get the reel to you and back? Nonsense.

I've caught many State records and monster fish on my Okuma reels. My clients love them here in Texas.
