At first our visit was good. Then we were sent to the ER. OMG!! We were there for 8 dead gum hours! Apparently they only had 10 beds so if ambulances or police brought brought someone in they went ahead of us. I understand the ambulance going ahead of us, but criminals? Once we did get in the back our nurse, Sabrina was awesome! We got very good care from her and the doctor was very thorough. Nobody should ever have to wait 8 hours in an emergency room! They have the best surgeons and surgical staff and they took great care of me during my total knee 3.
Have never encountered any problem whatsoever. Staff is awesome
I want to know why they have closed (closed to patients) the parking lot on the east side of the VA where there are numerous spaces DAILY for individuals to park and force people to walk sometimes half a mile to the building. There are people fighting for parking spaces every morning yet there are spaces available for parking. As I type this review there is an officer issuing tickets to individuals who were desperate to find parking and had no other place to park. This is unjust!!!!!!!!!! I am a Hoosier. I just transferred from Indianapolis VAMC 2 months ago. A couple vets told me its not the best. Indianapolis is fantastic. I was nervous and scared. I was so pleasantly surprised with the OKC VA. Its been nothing but great to me. Theyve met all my needs so far. Thumbs way up for the STAR program on third floor. I love my social worker Ms Koos. The nurse Mr. Rodgers and my dr. Dr. Araujo. Fantastic staff. And...Dav. So wonderful is that department. To everyone who jas helped me so far...i want to say thank you
