I'm going to stay in my lane and only talk about the things that I know. I would give a five star rating, because the TDRS clinic on the fourth floor is top notch, but the coffee in the waiting room is garbage. Half the time it's a week old, and when it is new it is so weak it taste like a limey made it for his daughter.
As always, the staff at he OKC VA are the best. They work hard with less to provide quality healthcare. I let them know, each and every time, that have a huge positive impact on the quality of my life. From the Doctors,nurses, lab techs, right down to the guy that comes around and empties the shit cans, they all deserve hugs and a raise! I wish that the system could hold up to the same standard. Oh and I for one am going to miss the professionalism of George who retired from the infusion clinic last week.....
I feel that the employees parking in the parking lot takes away from much needed parking of patients as I was looking for parking place with my dad we seen several employees parking where patients park also using the handicap spots when we have vets that can not walk the already long distance to the building.
Had hip replacement at the OKC VA .They were great I was on 2 floor for 6 days and everyone was great. They were the best .I am walking without any pain. The care was the best ever .
Other then parking and elevators was actually quick for once
First time getting registeted, took 30 min to get signed up for benefits,AWESOME!!! made my first Dr appt, was seen right away. Got x-rays same day. I've been out since 1996. Always heard horror stories about VA. That's why I waited so long to sign up. Wish i would of done it sooner, My experience so far with the VA, is amazing. I was treated with respect, and felt like I was important every step of the way, so far. The VA in Oklahoma is AMAZING. Eric Hancock USMC
