As a veteran who served his country honorably, I am shocked that the VAMC, OKC, OK, is making our ICU veterans used the bathroom in a makeshift bag for three years while they make renovations...This is poor planning and management needs to followup and take action...Undoubtedly, management is involved so I doubt it will help. They stated on the news that part of the reason was because they were having problems with contract negotiations. The care I've seen them give is second to none. Caring, friendly, compassionate are a few words that come to mind but fail miserably to describe what I have witnessed. The patients are treated with the utmost dignity and respect as people not just a job to do. The staff here are pure gold standard.
It's the VA; giving military members another chance to die for their country. �
My 96 year-old Dad was, as always, treated promptly and professionally. I wish the private sector worked as smoothly.
Great place. Everyone speaks to you. Appointments are on time. However, I wish they had built a parking garage instead of installing solar panels in the parking lot.
The vascular dept. professionals are exactly that professionals, and compassionate about serving Veterans , exemplar service doing a double angioplasty with triple stents.
They kill people and get away with it!! I know that they killed my wife I am going to file a lawsuit for the wrongful death of my wife. mrs carpender
