I have to be feeling like I’m going to die to even bother coming here. No one listens and customer service is what you’d expect. If you could get an appointment I wouldn’t have to resort to coming to the ER after a month of pain in my side
Hey OKC VA, why has my husband been waiting to be seen by anyone but a triage nurse nearly 3 hours ago? He went in complaining about not being able to breathe properly. Does that not concern you? The incompetence at this VA is appalling. My husband isn't a piece of trash that came back from a war. He's a human being. Treat him with the honor and respect he deserves, along with every other veteran who is forced to put up with your shoddy healthcare system. Get your crap together.
This is the worst place to try and schedule an Appointment. If you are lucky enough to get someone to answer a phone. Ex-1. Since August been trying to get an Eye appointment. Finally seen the end of December and still waiting on glasses. Don’t get me wrong once you can get into a clinic. Excellent caring Dr and Nurses, assist where they can (hands tied). But the get rich Administrative offices are incredible frustrating.
My experience with every staff member was nothing but the best. Everyone was so kind, happy and went above and beyond with their personal touch. From the Emergency room, receptionist, nurses, doctor and pharmacist. It took awhile but I was extremely happy with my services!
They say that help is available for veterans to keep them from being homeless. Not true for me. I have been sent from one social worker to another. All of them (6+ social workers) say I am not eligible for ANY program.
