Had my by-pass surgery on 2/24/15 at Ochsner - main campus; 6 months post op and am doing great. No heart issues - Dr. Michael Bates performed this surgery. He is the best of the best. I rate this institution a "5" - Excellent.

The Nursing Staff on the 6th floor are PATHETIC!!
A fucked up hospital!
The staff is fantastic, and very helpful.. Food is really pretty good you receive a menu at admissions.
This hospital is terrible. I came by ambulance and sat for hours for them to only call one person. When i went to the back to use the restroom the nurses were standing around talking about disney on ice while i observed multiple empty rooms.
This is the best hospital I've been to besides Tampa General Hospital. Every staff member and doctors have been extremely kind and caring. I feel like they actually care about my well being while I'm here and after my discharge.
absolutely the greatest people involved with my hip replacement surgery! Went home the day after feeling good! These people give hospitals a good name :) it was almost 24 hrs to the minute after my surgery that i was rolled out the door to go home. I want to thank EVERYONE involved, Dr's nurses, physical therapist , everyone was just so good!
