Based on my son’s visit today, 11/28/19. The nurse practitioner refused to treat my son because she thought he needed a head injury workup even without doing a neurological exam. We presented with a broken foot bone. She based her opinion on the facts that my son was groggy. First off, he had just woke up and he didn’t want to be there. She refused to even put a brace on my sons foot and even went as far as to say, she wasn’t concerned about his broken foot.
