Waited 4 hours for a scheduled lithotripsy at Ochsner Northshore. Not acceptable.
This hospital have very racist doctor that's all about a dollar!!! They don't give Adams about patient care!!! I will never return to this hospital!!!
I wish you had a Facebook page for inpatient comments for Ochsner West Bank. Worst experience at a hospital I ever had. Thank God I apparently had a strong immune system and I survived.
My mother was in the hospital since Tuesday. The surgical staff and her Drs were wonderful which is the only reason I'm giving a 2. Her initial transfer to her room on the 9th floor was so lacking compassion !!!!!! Unfortunately, she was brought into the room during shift change. That was the important thing made known to a 72 year old, scared woman who had just undergone back surgery . She had no pillow on her bed, no toiletry supplies and barely an introduction . So. I bring my dad to the er at Ochsner on Jeff hwy. So much construction there is nowhere to park. I'm in his truck with his scooter porch on the back. Parking lot is partially fenced off but has 1 available spot. Security guard yells move your effen truck. Yes...he used the expletive. I'm now angry but move. I ask where he would like me to park and he points across the street. I go there but the lot is locked. I go farther into a parking garage where I'm told I can't park because the truck is too long. I have had amazing treatment and interactions with Ochsner personnel. While I was there today, I watched a lovely doctor pay for a gentleman who was unable to purchase his meal. I took it as a beautiful display of humanity. I am truly blessed with the exceptional treatment I have received as a patient.
Its ridiculous how long they make elderly patients wait...... without a full waiting room.... please dont visit here right now just awful

The Rehab location on S Clearview Parkway needs a lot of improvement in patient attention. 1. Patients request pain meds and they have to wait at least 2 hours before the nurse comes to administer the meds 2. The pain med is administered before physical therapy, but by the time the therapist comes the meds have worn off. 3. The housekeeping is horrible. The patient bathrooms run out of toilet paper and paper towels. This slows down the nursing staff to have to find some until housekeeping shows up. This should be checked eve... read more
