The nurses and Drs. Were excellent to my husband!
My family loves this Hospital. The Doctors, nurses, and staff are so friendly and loving.
Some of the nurses in the ER are so rude, unprofessional, and lack training. Some of the white ones treat people of color as if they have the plague. They don't talk to you, no please, thanks, excuse me, nothing. Their overt racism shows all in their body language and actions. I hate that my husband had to come here for a broken wrist.
Angie, I total disagree with your assessment, of the floor nurses. For me, the entire organization is the best anyone can be involved with.
Had gastric bypass october 26 and before that and ivc filter. Friendly, and very attentive.
The Doctors (R) Good next best place Charity Hospital .....
Don't go here expecting any of the floor nurses to help you. They act like your 'putting them out' especially the Black nurses. Forget about getting pain meds on time, expect to get them 2 hours later. And to have your veins destroyed by the time you get out. The only good thing about this Hospital is the doctors. Wish i had the money to buy this Hospital and fire every single jackass except for the Doctors and three nurses working the floor.
Spent 7 1/2 hours in the Emergency Room/Test Result Area. The ER doctor told us it was a new project that he was just informed of that day to move people out ER! He was right, we moved from ER to Hell! Were there from 1030 am to 6 pm, spent ten minutes in the ER and the rest in the Test Result Waiting area. While we were there waiting to see a specialist, the room was crowded with others like ourselves and there was absolutely no privacy, we heard every doctor/staff talking to all the patients. The Wal-Mart of hospitals...that's all I can say. If I'm dying, bring me here so they can speed up the process!
