Ochsner medical center is the biggest waste of my fucking time. Bring my child there for a fever and get stuck for 7 hours while the unprofessional half ass doctors act like they are tring to help him. Never again.
Worst er I've ever been to. Went in with chest heart attack symptoms, left in the waiting room for 2.5 hrs before I decided to leave. I have a genetic heart problem that puts me at risk for a heart attack, which I told them. Nurses told me there were no beds then lied on the paperwork, saying I had been given a room and that my husband decided we were leaving. Nope sorry, no room and my husband didn't decide to leave, I did.

Dr. Scott Macicek and team are awesum! He put in a defribillator/pacemaker in my 19 y/o son today and has been such a gem of a man! Sweet, gentle, caring,patient and understanding, very easy to confide in. He has genuinely cared for my child and done an excellent job and treated us like we were his only patient. We are so grateful for him! Good hospital and neighboring comfortable hotel
Well, at the moment if I hadn't gone to the hospital which I did thank goodness. with no signs of distress. I woke up immediately with a perforated appendix. None the less the doctor mentioned if hadn't arrived within that 10 or 15 minutes it took getting to the hospital that I positively wouldn't be alive as I am sitting here today. Also my brother had his surgery performed with this particular hospital. My son has been in this hospital since early Tuesday morning 8-19-14!! And these doctors and nurses are the bomb!!! They have been here( and I might add we are still here!) for my son tending to his every need!! And every one of them have a great attitude!!! I'm so glad wjmc transferred my son here!! Great job to the doctors and nurses at oshner!! Thank you for your continued help for my son!!!
