The Oakdale Bar & Grill re-opened in February 2019. It is located next to the Oakdale Dam on the south side of Lake Freeman in Monticello, Indiana. Since then, the owners, Nick Blum, Dewey Brown, & Nicole Brown, have been motivated to not only continue the long legacy of The Oakdale, but they continue to provide a family friendly atmosphere with exceptional American Cuisine, Cold Beer, and Great Times.

Wish the last people still owned it. Discontinued frog legs (an oakdale legacy) catfish not as good as before. Blue gill was pretty good tho. Place just isn’t the same that I remember from 15 years ago.

My first time there was last night (9/4) for my bday. I was pleasantly surprised and our waitress was amazing! Food was cooked to perfection and the staff was very friendly. I will definitely be back.
