The Oakdale Bar & Grill re-opened in February 2019. It is located next to the Oakdale Dam on the south side of Lake Freeman in Monticello, Indiana. Since then, the owners, Nick Blum, Dewey Brown, & Nicole Brown, have been motivated to not only continue the long legacy of The Oakdale, but they continue to provide a family friendly atmosphere with exceptional American Cuisine, Cold Beer, and Great Times.

We had carry out tonite it was delicious!
Great patio! Would be nice to have a server or 2 out there. Girls selling beer seemed to be lost. Had to go inside to order food and it took forever. Then we get it in styrofoam to-go containers?? Also, I noticed a serious lack of name brand liquors. Not sure what that’s about. All in all, just ok but patio makes up for negatives and I realize they’re new & still learning & tweaking. Hoping for the best & wishing them luck!

Wow, third times not a charm! Not impressed. Food is decent, but service needs a lot of work. I watched the bartender talk horribly to waitresses. Won’t be back. Bring Steve back!!!
My sandwich was very good and got to see some old faces as well as some new ones (Brian)! Wishing the new owners success 👍
Enjoyed a kid free night out with a couple of friends last night. Our waitress was wonderful, we were never without drinks, appetizers were fantastic. Our meals were delicious! my only complaint would be that the French onion soup was too sweet...BUT all in all - fantastic. Loved Oakdale before, but will definitely make this a regular place. ❤ Good work, new owners!
