The Oakdale Bar & Grill re-opened in February 2019. It is located next to the Oakdale Dam on the south side of Lake Freeman in Monticello, Indiana. Since then, the owners, Nick Blum, Dewey Brown, & Nicole Brown, have been motivated to not only continue the long legacy of The Oakdale, but they continue to provide a family friendly atmosphere with exceptional American Cuisine, Cold Beer, and Great Times.

RecommendedVery good catfish. One at our table ordered pulled pork and specifically asked if any thing came on it. The waitress said no which was technically correct but should have mentioned it had onion in it. The menu didn't mention it either. Other than that it was a nice experience.
Love, love the staff and the atmosphere and of the food.
We ate there for the first time since Nick and Dewey took possession of Oakdale. We took our mom out for her 80th birthday 🎁 Oakdale has always been a staple in our community. We used to eat there all the time as kids and as young adults.The food was awesome and so was our waitress! Keep up the good work and we will be back soon!

The new spicy fish tacos (grilled) were amazing!! My picky 8 year old said the chicken tenders were the best. The place looks great & our waitress Ashlee was very good!
