Truly breathtaking views of the Oaks. The Home and grounds are full of history as it was, not as we would like it to have been. It was built on the backs of slaves. They did a great job of discussing the way things were at that time. As sad as it was. But they did a separate tour to discuss slave life... and contribution.

Stepping into the big house was almost like going back in time. It was so cool to learn about the people who built the house and some of the items they owned are still in the house, but none of that compares the the beautiful view of oak ally with 300 year old oaks. The real history lies within the shacks in the back where the slaves lived.

One of my dreams was to be here on this plantation and I just have no words to express how wonderful experience was to be at Oak Alley Plantation. The Oak trees are the most amazing trees I ever seen! A must place to visit!

Knowledgeable tour guides, beautiful house and grounds. The grounds include slave quarters, visually providing the stark contrast between how the owners and the slaves lived.

One of the most beautiful plantation homes but surprisingly small on the inside. If you're short on time, just walk around the grounds and down the alley of oaks. The inside is not that impressive so not a big deal if you skip the tour.
