Loved visiting Oak Alley Plantation. I feel the tour was great, not too long not too short. The drinks were great and the trees were amazing!
It was a beautiful scenery, just wished they gave tribute to the slaves who built this amazing plantation from the ground up. I wanted to know more about them and their history and how they became emancipated. It was more a tribute to the owners.
The home was amazing well maintained and easily maneuvered. The tour guide was very informative and knew the historical facts of the property. We were given ample opportunity to take pictures and look at the property. Definitely a beautiful place to go for ones that love history and plantations.
It was one of the most interesting things I did while visiting. When on house tour when they open the upper doors of house and you look down between the tree's it's breath taking!
