I have been taking care of my mother for the last 7 months. She finally passed away after a long battle with cancer. A true warrior. I needed a getaway and my husband decided to have us head to Reno. We booked a weeks stay at the Nugget and since we arrived our stay has been wonderful. Great food, wonderful clean rooms and the help has been excellent. I would recommend this place for sure. 5☆'s

The stay was great. New rooms nice. Cocktail service bad we were downstairs by the bar was offered a cocktail once by a waitress and never saw her again for over an hour. We never even had another one and I called housekeeping because our room wasn't clean and she tried to say that we had a tag out that said privacy it was still on our dresser. We never put one out and then when we left to go downstairs and someone put one on her door so that was pretty bad. I asked for more towels and got it but after they were dropped off ... read more

The Nugget did an outstanding job hosting over 1,450 participants at the Society for Range Management Annual Meeting. A plated luncheon for 1,000 went off smoothly, as well as a Trade Show, poster sessions, socials, dance, concert, career fair, and countless meetings and presentations. I'm not usually one to say anything bad but I feel I need to share my experience here. My wife and I booked a room on our anniversary but had one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a resort here in Reno. Firstly, we get there and it is completely packed with people which weren't necessarily a bad thing, what was bad was the horrible comments we were told by the staff who checked us in, they ignored the fact that we were attempting to have a pleasant night celebrating our anniversary, then no one explained any of the... read more
