I had a wonderful time; all the staff was courteous and helpful, especially Felina in your gorgeous atrium pool! Mike the bellman was friendly and helpful as well. I would recommend the Nugget to anyone looking for high end accommodations at a reasonable price.
The worst meal ever ,got the Maine lobster,it was LIKE rubber ,sent it back ,they had the nerve to re heat it ,my friend ordered the prime rib med rare ,it was blue, HAVE eaten there over 40 years ,just cannot believe it has gone so far downhill.Oh and I hope you like cigarette smoke,the ventilation system is horrible,and as others have said ,long wait for the elevators and our stay was on a slow weekend, Do yourself a favor ,STAY AT THE PEPPERMILL ,two weeks ago we did ,it was a solid 10.

VERY comfortable king-sized bed in a generously sized room. Dinner at Rosie's was mediocre. The advertised room price was VERY reasonable....until we checked in and were told of an additional $20 "resort fee". The hidden cost felt like a rip-off on what was otherwise an enjoyable stay.

A portion of the fee is made up of the tourism stipend imposed by the City of Reno upon all area hospitality establishments and, as such, unavoidable and out of our control. Seems very nice. Don't gamble myself but the rooms are clean and the staff friendly and considerate.

The hotel boasts if "beautifully appointed rooms." Not. First, the carpet in room was filthy and stained, the grout in bathroom floor bordering on charcoal color rather than white, lamp by bed was broken, light bulb burned out in bathroom. Okay, all housekeeping issues. But that was not the worst. The worst was finding a pubic hair on the pillow case, on another pillow case was a long black hair, in the bed another hair was found. No hot water the first day. Elevators were to slow. Waited 25 min.
