They need to get more organization with care, too many saying different thing about the prognosis. My mom's Dr. told me he had discharged her and another Dr. Came in and said after she eats lunch to see if she tolerate her diet, he might let her go home. But the diet (clear liquid) was the same for two days. So we were delayed for 3-4 hours until lunch came with the same clear liquid diet. My son is a student a La Tech he is a diabetic got really sick and went here. Not many choices in Ruston. He had a virus his blood sugar was over 900 the Dr in the ICU had the nerve to say he just wasn't taking his insulin right that wouldn't have gave him an 900. The ER Dr already said it was a virus look at the chart. They didn't seem to know too much about diabetes. The Nurses in the ICU was nice. Hospital is really out dated.
The nursing staff in both the ER and on the third floor that attended to my family and I during the loss of my father on 1-19-17 was no less than exceptional. The care, love and respect shown to us by them was heaven sent.
The wait is wayyyy to long!!! I been sitting in the waiting room since 11:30 p.m its 4:25 a.m and I still have not been seen
They didnt check my brother no lab r nothing just told him he had the flu what doctor do that.
