Beds were worse than the surgery (needed more pain meds for my aching back than for the surgery pain), nursing staff overworked and therefore unavailable immediately when needed sometimes waiting 30 or 40 minutes for my turn. Cold cold rooms on the surgery floor, staff were even wearing coats on cold days. Dietary staff was great however, call the kitchen and you can custom order your food (within reason), one gentleman was the friendliest, most helpful employee i met during my two week stay.

Any hospital stay anywhere is going to be a little frustrating. North LA Medical Center treated me very well, and the doctors / staff did a very good job of determining my treatment, and ultimately being discharged.

My husband is at Northern Louisiana Medical Center two to four times a month and it is tops. The staff are friendly and attend to your ever need, we throughly recommend it!!!

I would like to thank all the staff and Dr.'s that were so good to my baby last night. They were very thorough and as quick as to be expected in an emergency department that was packed . Luckily we were triaged back pretty quick dt her being so small and so sick. She is one sick baby girl. Thanks for all the prayers .
