RecommendedAfter a 13 hour drive, We were in Ruston for the World Series. The next day my husband had an emergency which required us to go to Northern Louisiana Medical Center. From the EMS to the Emergency Department to the ICU to Green Clinic, everyone was very professional, helpful, kind, and the list goes on and we cannot say enough great things on how we were treated while in Ruston. Fast and friendly!! We were three hours from home when my daughter took a rough fall. They made it super easy, quick, and easy when no where else was open.
I have been fortunate enough to avoid needing to go to the hospital for anything, but I did have the pleasure of welcoming my son into the world at NLMC. The nurses and staff in the Labor & Delivery unit and the Nursery at NLMC are angels in scrubs. They are THE BEST. I am so grateful for the excellent care they gave me and my baby. 5 STARS!

HORRIBLE EMERGENCY ROOM. WILL DIE BEFORE I GO THERE AGAIN.
I chose to have my son at Northern Louisiana Medical Center and was not disappointed. Even though he was born a few hours before the tornado hit the area our care was top notch through our entire stay. I would recommend this hospital to any moms looking for a great start for their child!
I would like to let nurse allison on the 2nd floor that she took good care of my daughter Raneseya and her baby and that she a wonderful nurse. 😘😘😘
care is above board. staff very accommodating pleasant helpful and courteous.
Doctors are lazy, lab is extremely slow (I'm talking 3 to 4 hours slower than we are told), rude admins, and unknowledgeable nurses. If you can make it to Minden or Monroe please do yourself the favor. I keep hoping this place will get better but never does.
