The highlights were the service and food against a very traditional well kept Manor House hotel. Immediately made to feel welcome, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return. Do not come for modern decor, bathrooms etc. Everything is very clean, large soft towels, comfortable beds so in the context, it’s brilliant. For some reason we didn’t use the Spa which is a brand new building and looks great.

Celebrated our 40th anniversary here taking advantage of the 4 nights for the cost of 3. Brought our dog along and very pleased with the room, food and especially the staff. We had a surprise during our gourmet meal as our table was decorated. The quality of food is excellent. Comfortable beds. Peaceful location. Went for a spa day with a three course lunch at the hotel. The food was delicious, service brilliant and the spa facilities were excellent! It was a very special and relaxing day!
