They misdiagnosed my nephew said he had indigestion, the only time the doctor even came in contact with my nephew was when he shook his hand and fed his bs to me just to get us out of there. They gave him the wrong medicine, made him worse and one was not covered by insurance costing about 60$ out of pocket. The result.... we went home he developed a rash and a high fever, had surgery the day after at Children’s Hospital, he had a ruptured appendix. Thanks for being to busy to care. Thanks for nothing.
There is only 1 working elevator for visitors. The stairs aren't even accessable unless there is a fire. It has been like this for MONTHS. They are doing all kinds of construction but can't get a working elevator????
RecommendedThe staff at the hospital was amazing!!! They nurses were fantastic and all had the best bedside manner. I loved them all. Thank you for your kindness and support. Going through the kind of surgery I had I needed all the TLC I could receive.
This place by far is the worst! I won’t go into detail but I would recommend going anywhere else!
My mom was in North Suburban Hospital for a week and a half before she passed away. The 5 th floor care of her was neglegant. Her care instructions were to turn her every two hours. My sister and I were there for 5 1/2 hours and she was not turned once. My mother kept telling the aides that her leg and backside where her wound was located burned and they did not do anything. The ER is the worst. The staff does not communicate at all with the patients and they don’t care how long you need to wait. The bathrooms are filthy. The nurses are rude the doctor popped in one time and said he would do an exam and nothing for over three hours. Not even an acknowledgement from a nurse!
