They absolutely take no responsibility for their wrongs and left me with a mild tbi and injury to neck due to neglect of their nurse. Have done nothing to remedy this for me accept to more or less tell me oh well. the patient advocate isn't really there to help patients. Go some where else.
10 out of 5 stars! My 8 month old daughter was admitted Saturday evening for seizures through the ER and then we stayed in the pediatric unit until today (Tuesday). They exhausted every single avenue to find out why this poor baby had 4 seizures in one day. I had taken her to St. Anthony’s North earlier that Saturday and they checked her vitals and sent her home and said she was fine. Turns out she had a bladder infection and was having febrile seizures and we would have never known if it hadn’t been for the amazing people a... read more
Their doctors were great. Not so much for someone who worked there the night my husband came in for emergency surgery. They removed his 2 neck chains. And did not return them. Their policy is not to reimburse for jewelry. One chain was a Christmas gift 30 years ago from me. Very disappointed in North Suburban and Ed Cook who is their patient advocate. Advocate my a**. Didn't do a dann thing. Treated my husband like a liar. Their customer service on this sucks. Don't go there wearing anything valuable, it will probably get st... read more

We fully regret that this experience fell short of expectations. We have shared this feedback with our senior leadership team so that they are aware and may look into this further and make necessary improvements. Thank you.
I asked everybody who knows me to share this post I want to thank the doctors and all the nurses in Icu at North suburban in Thornton for taking care of my nephew Dustin menzor..I asked everybody to share this and hopefully it gets back to somebody in ICU to know that they are appreciated. And we thank them so much for all they're doing for him
I was fortunate enough to deliver both of my babies at NSMC. I could not be more happy with how both labor and deliveries went. I felt safe and cared for and most importantly, I knew my babies were in good hands. My daughter was born via emergency csection and all of the nurses were so kind and comforting, I could not be more grateful for the team that helped me. Kelly, Pam, Karen, Julie, Pattie, Kalee, Carleen and the wonderful woman who did my spinal and kept me calm in the OR. I'm sure I forgot someone, and if I did, I'm ... read more

My sister was there for a possible stroke. She sat for 2 hours in the ED waiting for an MRI. No one talked to her until the family complained. She had to spend the night because no one called speech therapy in time and that department left for the day. So they wouldn’t let her eat or drink with out being checked out by speech therapy. They moved her to a different room in the middle of the night calling her by the WRONG NAME. She threw up the whole second day. Left her on a bench outside the hospital to be picked up, she was... read more
I had a rude aid, I think her name was Abigail or Addie. My IV was rugged out so it kept beeping. She then called me a “problem child” as if I was. She told the patient next to me “uh you’re so good you don’t call you don’t ever need anything” as if she was saying that I call all the time. Isn’t that your job? There was One aid I can’t remember her name but she worked the night shift she was SOO cool. I liked her very much. As well as Shannon the nurse, then two are the only Ones who made my stay great. Any other medical pro... read more

I sent my uncle to the ED on 5/1/20 for a possible ACCIDENTAL drug overdose and loss of function in his legs. I got a call several hours later that they couldn’t find anything wrong even though, he still could not move his legs. Less than a week later, my uncle was admitted to the inpatient oncology unit at PSL for radiation treatment to his spine on a tumor that had grown back rapidly that was removed at North Suburban several weeks prior. On May 21st, my uncle died from cancer. Shame on you, ED staff at North Suburban, for... read more
